Anybody as obsessed with Instagram as we are will understand the importance of maintaining a perfectly curated profile, with each photo forming an important piece of the overall puzzle. What to do if a post looks out of place, or isn’t performing well?
Traditionally, the only option for dealing with those pesky posts was to hit ‘delete’ – but no more, friends!
Instagram is currently trialing a reversible ‘archive’ option on selected accounts, giving users the option to hide past photos while retaining comments and likes. Simply tap the ‘…’ button on the post and select to archive it.
To take a stroll down memory lane, look for the little clock arrow in the top right corner of your profile to view your archived posts (only you can see these). The new archive feature allows you to undo the action if you change your mind – just click ‘…’ again and return to profile.
