Breaking: Major Insta Update

Today Facebook has announced the roll-out of a series of new video marketing tools and Instagram AND IGTV scheduling for up to 6 months in advance.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Breathe..... Wow things just epic. Now we all know Insta has allowed scheduling via third party apps over the past year and recently have also stepped it up to allow videos to be autoposted too. This ability has however NEVER been available natively and didn't apply to IGTV - so today marks a pretty big move from Insta. Story scheduling hasn't yet been announced but our guess is it'll follow in the months to come.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is big news in the Insta world and shows just how 'business orientated' the social world now is. There's good and bad to this of course, good - it's going to be even easier to prepare amazing content to go out to your audiences and craft incredible IGTV content to take your brand further. Bad news? We're likely to see even more of an increase in content and 'noise' that your brand needs to cut through to be seen and for your marketing to have an impact.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How do you counteract this? Creative ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Consistent⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now more than ever is the time to get strategic with your social media. Getting 'the youngest person in the office to post because they're always on Instagram' does not a strategy make-eth.
